Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords Was Shot Outside a Grocery Store in Tuscon Arizona on Saturday January 8

The shooting reportedly took place around noon eastern time, and congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was among about 12 people that were shot outside a Safeway grocery store.

She was hosting a 'Congress on Your Corner' event, when a gunman just ran up and started shooting according to witnesses.

The gunman has reportedly been taken into custody.

Preliminary reports suggest that some of Giffords' staff were also shot and a number of people have been taken to hospital, but their conditions are not known at this time.

Is this Pakistan huh, or any pakistani killed her nope !!!, then america is pity same as Pakistan, now , when pak governer assasinated , ppl blame pakistani extemism, now blame american guys, extremist are there too

According to the evening news there are twelve shot with six mortally wounded.

CTV has good information about this tragedy.

Personally, I think it's a symptom of a culture gone awry. I pray we find a way to bring ourselves back to sanity as modern societies but I fear it requires too much effort from the common folk. Most folks simply don't want to think that hard, so we slide deeper into a cancer of the soul.
