NP Rank:
Corruption has its uses
People believe widely that corruption hampers economic growth. But in East Asia the experts have noted the seeming paradox of high corruption and high growth occurring together. And they conclude that corruption in weak and still unformed states—for as long as it is predictable, moderated and controlled—has its uses, since it substitutes for the legalities that in the mature countries ensure the stability of investments and the inviolability of property rights.
Only in our country has corruption failed to produce this East Asian paradox.
I think the main problem here in the Philippines second to the corruption is that every politician is claiming each other is corrupt. Each and every day there is a new corruption or two proclaimed in the media. by this factor alone the Philippines is look at being the most corrupt in south east Asia. The truth is that its stand equal to many of its neighbors.

Corruption is the face of most Political Leaders. But of course, it is not to be taken sterotypical. Im sure they have the best of interest for their chosen career. And that, the best we can do as followers, is to pray for the Leaders and the country's development. I believe also that to have a well intended leaders especially, 2010 Presidential Election is near, we should check on our morals, check if the leaders believes truly in God and so their leadership will change. Corruption is just one part of the issue, a leader will be facing, its the work of the devil. But let us not judge and throw contempt to everyone leading the country. After all, they had been elected by us.
