the cosmic challenge

Anyone who knows me personally knows i wasn't joking about making Excalibur. i will wait for the appropriate time and place; i suggest a hand-forge in one of the four Kingdoms volunteer facilities to me. Likely i will need to use meteoric iron. We will know when the time is right for me to make Excalibur .. Let me let you into a little 'secret' bet between Lucifer and God. First let me say some people have told me humanity has very little intrinsic value; if we disappeared, it wouldn't be such a great loss to the Galactic Federation. If it exists, that organization is waiting for Earth civilization to mature to the point of invitation. i will tell you the criteria: when every human being regardless of stature can look into the sky or the eyes of a child and say "thank you God for this chance to be alive", regardless if they hadn't eaten that day, regardless if their brother was murdered by an enemy, regardless if their wife/sister was just raped, regardless of any pain or suffering, if they can say that from their heart, we will be invited. Further, we need to establish 'robot rights' before they're fully developed. Of course, there's no guarantee a respected robot will give it back - but i guarantee you it's more likely. i'm not talking about mindless simulacrums; i'm talking about conscious machines. If i have anything to do with development, we will develop conscious machines within the decade. That's why i insist on robot rights. With proper respect, they'll be our partners in exploring the galaxy (assuming the GF does not exist). Now that sounds contradictory, right? First i tell you we must establish robot rights in order to be invited into the GF but then i say it might not exist. My point is: we must establish robot rights regardless. It's the mature and responsible thing to do .. Back to the cosmic bet. i believe the conversation went something like this:
God: so you think humanity won't make it huh?
Lucifer: no, they're never gonna wake up - as a whole.
God: you willing to bet on this?
Lucifer: a serious bet?
God: yea, like if i'm wrong, i'll resign; you take over.
[Satan's eyes gleam with desire; he cannot believe his pointed ears]
Lucifer: deal! ..oh, what do I lose if I'm wrong?
God: you must promise to leave them alone after this; promise?
[like a disappointed child sulking] Lucifer: I promise.
God: good, i take your word on it; and i'll be Watching.

We've a chance in 2012 (and in every generation/time but most especially now because of our precarious global situation) to beat that old goat and his lack of faith in us .. Anyone who says "Sam, you're crazy; I'm not listening to you." is indirectly working for Lucifer .. i say again: you don't have to accept my physics and world-view to believe in God, but for example: you must believe in God to accept my physics. ;) (If you read any of my physics essays, you understand i recognize God as Prime Cause.)

So let's prove Satan wrong, okay? Deal?

Can I just be a nice person without believing in a deity? I will join but I dont want someone elses religion crammed down my throat, humanity has had quite enough of that thank you.

Also it is quite normal for someone to be angry when their brother gets murdered or their sister gets raped. Expecting thanks in situations like that is quite unrealistic. Good essay though.

dear FT, of Course you always have the freedom to believe whatever you want/need to believe - that is human freedom. i also HATE religion crammed down my throat - if you skim Better Way (available on Scribd), you can see how much i Hate twisted religions (which i believe are all major religions on Earth) .. but .. and this is a significant but .. there are things of value in each religion (i've written about this on Scribd) .. and no one has ever designed or engineered a religion as i have in Better Way - this is a first as far as i know .. of Course i love Nice People! :) i truly Love them from my heart - they don't NEED religion! (like you!) :) i've met many people in my experiences who don't need religion! :) they are Strong by themselves :) it truly is a Beautiful thing :) .. your second comment however i must disagree .. if we cannot turn the other cheek (one of the most Profound things about Christianity), if we cannot Forgive, we are Lost. i truly believe - if we cannot forgive, we are Lost as a civilization and species .. i Know it's Difficult to practice .. i have difficulty practicing forgiveness (for instance, my family will not support me in Better Way etc), but i MUST forgive them regardless. i MUST. otherwise, everything i say is Worthless. i MUST practice what i preach. that's a given .. so FT, i cannot make you believe in God .. but i can ask you to try to forgive (in your own life) .. that's all i can ask.. love, sam

I kind of see what you are getting at but.......

I think not exacting revenge on someone is enough, I dont think total forgiveness is reasonable in certain situations.

"Let me let you into a little 'secret'_bet between Lucifer and God" (..not exactly, What is your definition of God? )

"Galactic Federation" ..exist or not  ( Who is this ? )

"that organization is waiting for Earth civilization to mature to the point of invitation" ( ..or one person )

"i insist on robot rights" ( What is this? )

"indirectly working for Lucifer" ( ..not exactly )

"you must believe in God to accept my physics. If you read any of my physics essays, you understand i recognize God as Prime Cause"  ( Ok, what is your physics? )
