I took this photograph of a veteran of the war In Iraq at a reunion for members of the 1st Marine Division.
I am a combat veteran of the Viet Nam war. I picked up my first camera while serving in with the Marines Corps in Viet Nam. I have shot photographs for almost forty years. This was the most difficult photo I ever took. I was pretty wiped out after meeting this Marine.
