‘COUNTRY FIST’ Appropriate Slogan for Obama
“COUNTRY FIRST” is the theme, appropriately enough, of this week’s Republican National Convention taking place at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. Stories about John McCain’s heroic service to his country will be told and testimonials delivered by people who know him well — people like former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) and Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.).
Conversely, “COUNTRY FIST” is a theme I think best characterizes the campaign being waged by Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama and his supporters — people like Michael Moore, Jesse Jackson and members of the Palestinian terror group, Hamas.
It even prompts flashbacks to the famous fist-bump the U.S. Senate’s most-liberal member shared with his proud, yet frustrated wife Michelle June 3 at the same site as the GOP convention.
