Jullisa Brisman Murder Movie

It was only a matter of time before a serial psycho used Craigslist as a hunting ground. A killer is luring and robbing young women who advertise casual encounters on the classifieds site; he has already murdered one of his targets earning him moniker the Craigslist Killer.

Described as being white with blonde hair, 6 foot tall, and clean cut, the unidentified man is now a person of interest in the murder of one woman and the assault and attempted robbery of another on the East Coast of the US.  A third potential victim has also been identified on a Las Vegas woman.

April 16, 2009 in Warwick Rhode Island an unnamed woman was tied up and attacked by a massage client who had answered her Craigslist ad.  He was interrupted by the woman's husband and fled the scene.

The description of the attacker fits that of a man wanted for questioning in the shooting death of actress Julissa Brisman, 26, at the Marriott Copley Place in Boston two days earlier.  That man was captured on surveillance video leaving the hotel around the time of Brisman's murder.

The man's description also matches that of a person of interest in a similar attack the week before.  In that case another woman who had advertised her services on Craigslist was lured to a room at the Westin Copley Hotel where she was attacked and robbed.

Update at 9:45 a.m. ET: The Providence Journal reports that the attacker was described as 6-feet tall, clean cut, with blond hair, a black coat and jeans. He fled when the woman's husband walked into the room and gave chase, police said.

The newspaper quotes Warwick police chief Stephen McCartney as saying the woman is from Las Vegas and has been a dancer at the Cadillac lounge.

Update at 2:52 p.m. ET:  McCartney says there are "strong similarties" between the latest attack in Rhode Island and killing in Boston, The Providence Journal reports. He also confirms that his team is working with Boston police on the cases.

This has always been a risk associated with advertising intimate services in a public sphere, be it classifieds, those cards in phone booths, or online. At the end of the day, one is setting oneself up to meet total strangers, alone, as a core business model, and that's obviously dangerous.

In light of this, I don't think that the craigslist element is nearly as important as the serial-killer element.

This seems to me like a serial killer, So I hope they catch the culprit before some nieve young woman looses her life though sheer stupidity.Meetings with strangers is always dodgy espeacially under those circumstances.

This is a very sad case; however, instead of taking a risk with a total stranger; find a better profession.  Alot of times, fast / quick money, the risk that one takes its NOT WORTH IT.  The victim was someone's sister and daughter. Fame, beauty, etc. - comes with a HIGH - COST; alot of times it can cost you, your life.  To the creep that did this, your time will come, alot of sleepless nights.  If the killer is indeed the Boston college student; family, fiance, and friends, instead of quickly defending him; let's see what the evidence is stating; remember, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, were both like-able people and they turned out to be MONSTERS! The detectives believe that they have the right person based on the evidence.  All of this, he couldn't be the right person, etc. He has a different personality when he's not around you.  No one truly knows what another person will do; because you are not with that person 24/7.  And for the fiance, I hope you are not like most women; who don't want to believe that their spouse or soon-to-be spouse could do such a horrible thing. Wake and smell the coffee. Sometimes if it's too good to be true 9 times out of 10 times its the latter of the two.  At least you still have a life Julissa Brisman's life was taken from her, she will never have the chance to get married, play with her sister's kids, etc. So for all the ones that are so quick to judge Julissa Brisman and her profession, where is the sympathy for her family? She did not deserve to died.

Men should not kill women!

It does not matter what her profession or risk, where she was or what she was doing.

NONE of that ever gives a man the right to be killing women.

The police say his IP address from his computer shows emails to her and the cell phone record connects him to her.
