Cries of War Heard Worldwide

January 2, 2009 - Israel stands firm and continues to siege Gaza by sending in ground troops and planning solid action against the Gaza militants. One Palestinian supporter is photographed wearing a headband which says, "Al-Qassam battalions".“Palestinian supporters of Hamas take part in a demonstration against Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip, at Al-Yarmouk Camp which is close to Damascus today.” There is no hope of a ceasefire on this seventh-day of military actions which have overcome the area and forced hopeful citizens holding foreign passports to flee Gaza. People are photographed crossing over the Erez Border to Israel and it is clear they are thankful to be leaving the dangerous Gaza strip. Israeli Army tankers are waiting right outside the Gaza strip. All types of people begin to crowd and fight for the Gaza people who are being blown apart and whose homes are destroyed because the Hamas militants started a war that they cannot finish. Today, police near the Israeli embassy in Moscow have arrested many protesters and approximately 50 demonstrators. They attempted to hold an unauthorized protest against Israel's aerial campaign on the Gaza Strip, the Interfax news agency reported. Israeli warplanes struck targets in Gaza on January 2, 2009 and Islamist fighters fired rockets into the Israeli port of Ashkelon, dashing international hopes of a ceasefire to end this serious seven days of attacks. The cries of war have been heard around the world. From Israel to Asia people bond together to try and influence the Israeli Army to ceasefire. In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia there have been protests as well as, Jakarta, Indonesia, where Muslim protesters marched and held a large rally against Israeli military strikes. No-one is listening to the Israel government about why this war is in effect. When any war starts, people always get involved without knowing the facts. All they see are the shattering and destruction of property and human lives. They try desperately as Christians, and as Muslims and as "just people who believe in good" to help one other frantically as they tally up the deaths and hospitals are unable to help the injured. The sad truths are the causes of war which are sometimes left untold. This war started after Gaza militants repeatedly fired rockets into innocent civilian areas of Israel. Now, Israel fires back with their ammunition towards the militants that these civilians have feared for many years.
