a preliminary hearing was held at the Gorno-Altaysk City Court in the criminal case against Aleksandr Kalistratov. Judge Marina Sokolovskaya scheduled the hearing of the case on its merits for October 20, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. Kalistratov was charged with inciting religious enmity because he gave two internationally distributed religious magazines to someone who asked for them. However, it was not until a year later that the magazines were labeled as “extremist” by the Supreme Court of the Altay Republic.

It must make Ms. Yuliya Khvastunova proud that the pinnacle achievement with which she will be remembered is the attempted demolition of religious tolerance and freedom of worship. She needs all the help she can muster as she's fighting against the European Court of Human Rights, The United States Supreme Court, The United Nations and the long-held universal notion of equal rights, freedom of worship and assembly. She also opposes the intention of the European Court of Human Rights which was established to "secure fundamental civil and political rights." One can only surmise she is for the dismantling of all such basic and "fundamental human rights" worldwide. Her attempts to derail peaceful worship and co-existence will amalgamate her with the likes of Mussolini, Stalin and Hitler. What a proud group of comrades you have! It begs many questions, the least of which is not, Does Ms. Khvastunova oppose ALL religious freedoms, including those of the Russian Orthodox church? Of course not. The line between the dishonest church and its crooked state is indistinguishable in the crumbling ruins of Russia. Religious freedoms are and should be granted for ALL religions, even the ones we don't agree with. Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses may annoy some but they are nonetheless a recognized religious group among the more enlightened nations. We've all been awoke by them a time or two on the odd morning but this gives no satisfactory breadth of reasoning to assault them in your religiously be-darkened country. Would you have the world revert to the Dark Ages of unenlightened fools? Your efforts would answer affirmatively to that question. Ms. Yuliya, my suggestion is that you get a refund from her respective institution of lower-learning and volunteer for Peace Corps or Amnesty International. Ms. You-Liar, ahem, Ms. Yuliya, I hope you remembered your Red Bull this morning beacause I heard it "gives you wings." In the end you may well wish to utilize those wings and leave town while hanging your head in shame.
