A Badi, in front of ministerial quarters and the UN building at Pulchowk, Kathmandu on Thursday, August 23, 2007, demands an end to the Badi tradition, alternative employment opportunity and education. Prostitution is the 'traditional' occupation of women in the Badi community with daughters forced to take it up for survival.

tt, I think your story has potential but needs some improvement. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered. This appears to be a really old story.

Very sad to hear on the position of women in the Badi Community.  Nepali Government should provide them what they are demanding.
