The ex-monastery, founded by Dominicans, was constructed during the 16th century, however it was abandoned before it could be finished. Many of the rooms and chapels are partly finished -- with some areas lacking a roof (which was never built).
The unfinished chapel is still used for religious ceremonies, quinceaneras, and weddings.
Quite a haunting structure, especially amongst the grandure, yet there's nothing above your head.Best viewed in LARGE format
