Culturism could be a needed form of Politics in UK.?
Please believe me when I say I am not a racialist and my only real worry is my home land has lost its culture. I am writing this because racialism in United Kingdom has been brought in to view because of Nick Griffin. Nick Griffin is a leader of the racialist British National Party and was allowed to air his parties view on BBC’s Question Time.
I remember Enoch Powell “Rivers of Blood speech.”
Powell recounted a conversation with one of his constituents, a middle-aged working man, a few weeks earlier. Powell said that man told him: "If I had the money to go, I wouldn't stay in this country… I have three children, all of them been through grammar school and two of them married now, with family. I shan't be satisfied till I have seen them all settled overseas." The man finished by saying to Powell: "In this country in 15 or 20 years time the black man will have the whip hand over the white man."Powell went on:
Here is a decent, ordinary fellow-Englishman, who in broad daylight in my own town says to me, his Member of Parliament, that the country will not be worth living in for his children. I simply do not have the right to shrug my shoulders and think about something else. What he is saying, thousands and hundreds of thousands are saying and thinking – not throughout Great Britain, perhaps, but in the areas that are already undergoing the total transformation to which there is no parallel in a thousand years of English history.
Powell quoted the Registrar-General's statistics that, in 15 to 20 years, there would be 3.5 million immigrants and their descendants in Britain. Powell estimated that by the year 2000, the figure would be 5 to 7 million, around one tenth of the population. Powell claimed that it was urgent to stop "further inflow, and by promoting the maximum outflow" because by 1985, the majority of the immigrant community would have been born in Britain. Powell asserted that this was "part of the official policy of the Conservative Party". He went on to say:
The Racial form of nationalism is un-accepted by most people in United Kingdom it has little following and it’s completely and utterly un-acceptable to me.
United Kingdom race of indigenous people the white native was born there, as their distant ancestors were mostly centuries ago. In a way the race is however a mongrel one, caused by a long history of European invasion and migration. The original culture is gradually disappearing. It’s become like America a melting pot of races and religion but the pot has not melded races into a single society and the cultures and religions have overwhelmed United Kingdoms original way of life.
Living in a country now that became wise to this type of problem, one that indeed wants to ensure its culture remains intact and still allow other cultures to reside and be nationals within their cultural domain. The Philippines is however a mongrel race as well due to migration and invasion by Asian, Polynesian and later the Spanish and Americans.
They however hold their culture together by not allowing people that have no Filipino blood authority over those that do. It means that a non Filipino can not hold a local or national authority or political post. Their laws however protect all that visit live and reside in the Philippines. Those residence or nationalized citizens that have no Filipino blood can not vote. There is of course a small percentage of racialism but its bearable and not like it shows its ugly head in Europe.
Perhaps United Kingdom should think more in retaining its old culture and taking protection of its complete erosion. A form of politics that is non racialist could have been the answer from the onset of globalization it could even work now but for the horse bolting before the stable door was locked.
I see Culturism as being the cure but to impose it now would cause much pain and Enoch Powell’s prediction has been allowed to become very likely to happen in the very near future. Racial Nationalism will be the main cause.
Summary of personal opinion.
When I see a nationalized immigrant descendant calling himself or her self British, I really get annoyed that my government has allowed such to happen. I am British by blood and by my cultural up bringing its what I am and the pride of that has faded and diminished. Most of the nations these immigrants’ families originally came from try to keep their culture in a similar means that the Philippines have done. That is not racial based thing, nor should, the people that have placed such protection be deemed racialist, just because they want to keep their culture.
My wish is that Culturism is on the agenda in United Kingdom but not racial Nationalism it may look the same to some people but its certainly not to this British citizen.
