In an effort to cut down the number of abandoned pets, a party is being held in Cuyahoga County, Ohio to raise funds and help pet owners buy pet food and avoid the temptation of abandoning their pets. The event is for the benefit of Peace for Animals.

To help pet owners who are having difficulties feeding their pets, Cuyahoga is holding a Pet Party to raise money for pet food. The benefit event for Peace for Animals (PAX) and the organization’s Pet Food Bank is designed to discourage owners from abandoning their dog or cat and adding to an already expanding population of abandoned pets.

The event will be held at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Ohio. Owners of dogs and cats are invited to attend the party along with their pets. Proceeds from the fund raising event will help owners buy food for their pets and minimize the chance of these pets being given to the care of a cat or puppy shelter.
