President elect Barack Obama's first appointment, Rahm Emanuel, who is set to become chief-of-staff, is the son of a member of the Zionist terrorist group Irgun, which was responsible for bombing hotels, marketplaces as well as the infamous Deir Yassin massacre, in which hundreds of Palestinian villagers were slaughtered.

A most disheartening and damaging appointment. It is not fair to hold Rahm E. acountable for his father's prior activities. It is shocking that he has been elected by hedge fund lobbyists, made his millions in investment banking during the lead up to the financial crisis, blind as a board director of FreddieMac amidst its negligence ain recent years, and signed on to a letter as a critic of Bush for not accepting the legitimacy of political assassination policy and actions by the Isreali secret service and military against accused Palestinian group leaders.

As far as financial and forieng policy go, this appointment is doomed. It does not unify or harmonize, offer diplomatic or social change or job and economic reform if Rahm E.'s professional activities and actions and his recent history in politics and economy are to be seen simply as they are.

I suggest if Barack is listening all nowpublicists ought to research both sides of the Rahm E. story, get to the facts and petition Obama to reverse the first giant obstacle to real change, Rahm E. As it stands, my respect for Obama is greatly diminished. Perhaps he is an actor and not genuine. He certainly has an aura but now I wonder what is actually going on in his mind to make such a passe Clinton+Bush+WallSt+MiddleEastMiliary participant. no matter what I may believe is the best outcome for all these past obstacles to change, clearly this guy Rham(bo) as they say is not able to write off the agenda that his actions in military, business and legislative terms prove should one simply research him and overcome Iraq, Palestine and mortgage financial issues that loom large and threaten. Nothing against Rahm's desire to serve Israel at all or his personal beliefs, spiritual or free market. On the contrary, I have my own. But as a figure of change and harmony, he is a bad, bad choice. He will divide and we will be conquered, if he remains co-president as chiefs of staff in effect are unceremoniously. He ought not to accept thejob were he really concerned with a YOU agenda and not his own. He must know that there is clearly a point of view he brings to a position that at no time in history ought to be devoid of publically known personal ideology and desire to make millions at less than transparent banking activities, with no judgment on those activities other than their power to divide and obscure change.

Obama. We thought you were listening. Change, not now and then, not now or then. Change now.
