Dalia Dippolito Arrested For Plot to Kill Michael Dippolito
Dalia Dippolito was arrested Wednesday in Miami for allegedly trying to hire an undercover cop to kill her husband Michael Dippolito. Dalia Dippolito has been charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder and she remains in Palm Beach County jail.
The arrest came after police were tipped off that the 26-year-old Dalia Dippolito was trying to put out a hit on her husband of six months. Police set up a sting complete with surveillance cameras that allegedly recorded her spilling the beans.
The undercover officer later met Dippolito in a pharmacy parking lot and asked if she was sure she wanted her husband killed.
She laughed, according to the according to the affidavit, and said: "I will be very happy."
Dippolito discussed getaway routes, her home's security system, the location of her husband on Wednesday and the fee for the task, and the officer again asked if the woman was sure.
"I'm not going to change my mind," she responded, according to the documents. "I am 5,000 percent sure I want it done. When I set my mind to something, I get it done."
Dalia Dippolito offered to pay the undercover officer $3,000 for the hit on her 38-year-old husband. Early Wednesday Dippolito went for a workout at LA Fitness, expecting the hit to take place during that time.
In a scene reminiscent of CSI: Miami, police then set up a fake crime scene outside Dippolito's home, complete with yellow police tape. Officers then contacted Dalia telling that Michael Dippolito was dead and she broke into tears. Dalia Dippolito was arrested shortly afterward and taken into custody.

Well I certainly hope that she will not get off with a slap on the wrist as other cases have culminated. I recall the pharmacist who traded drugs and cash to undercover agents, posing as hit men who video recorded the entire transaction, only to result in a 30 day jail sentence. He tried to have his wife murdered and is a free man, while she has to continue to fear for her life on a daily basis because the judge thought it was perfectly ok to solicit your wife's murder. We will see what happens with this case, already the judge has freed her on $25,000 bail. Not a good sign, folks.

Maybe she had good reason for wanting this done if this is the same fraudster from 2002.
