Daniel James Murray, the man who threatened to kill Obama, has been arrested at a Nevada Casino.

Authorities arrested Daniel James Murray, the gun-loving loon from upstate New York who threatened to kill President Obama, at a Nevada casino Friday, ending a nationwide manhunt.

Daniel James Murray, the man who told a Utah bank manager he was on a mission to kill President Obama, is now on the run after an arrest warrant has been issued.

Murray is said to have an arsenal of guns, and was last seen driving east in a 2001 Buick LeSabre with New York plates, after he withdrew $13,000 from his bank in St. George on May 27th.

"We are on a mission to kill the President of the United States," Murray reportedly said before he split.

He has at least eight semi-automatic pistols and revolvers returned on May 28th to the bank and withdrew $72,000, and then he was seen again later that day in a bank in Cedar City, in Iowa.

He has glasses and a scraggly beard and is wearing a t-shirt saying 'My way is the highway - God' on it with a Christian cross with wings.

The officials are concerned but not too worries about his Presidential threat.

"He's obviously a little off his stride, which becomes more of a concern for police officers who might stop his car," a federal law enforcement source told the Daily News.

Murray apparently blames Obama for the economic meltdown.
In a rant on May 19, when he opened a savings account in Utah with $85,000 he said:

"With all this mess going on under President Obama with banks and the economy, I'm sure if citizens happen to lose their money, they will rise up and we could see killing and deaths,"

He later tried to withdraw $12,698 from that account but was turned away due to lack of identification and told the teller:

"Not to be disrespectful, but if I don't get this money, someone is going to die,"

The bank manager then allowed the transaction and counted it out in no bills larger than $50 and in non-sequential order, while Murray said:

"We are 94 million miles from the sun, and are in between the sun and moon, and the eagle that flies between them and it's a giant step for mankind ... I have traveled thousands of miles to be here and know things that are going to happen ... The banking system will fail and people will die ... There will be chaos in the world."

It was right after this that he uttered the threat to kill Obama.

Daniel James Murray is 6 foot 2, weighs 250 pounds and should not be approached if seen.
