Darien, IL Home Invasion: Jeffrey Kramer & Family Killed

Three people were found killed in a Darien, IL home invasion. Jeffrey, wife Laurie and son Michael Kramer were found dead as police investigated the house on Kilkenny Drive. A girl hiding in the closet during the shooting and called the police; she's not a member of the family and is thought to be 20-year-old son Michael Kramer's girlfriend. Jeffrey and Laurie Kramer had another son, who apparently escaped the shooting.
The police say that the Darien home invasion was not a random act but a targeted killing, so nearby residents shouldn't be afraid. However, neighbors describe the Kramers as a "fantastic family". Jeffrey Kramer owned Kramer's Auto Repair and Towing in Cicero, Il.
"The neighborhood is not in danger," Police Chief Robert Pavelchic said. "This does not appear to be a random act. It doesn't appear there's a suspect running around the neighborhood."

My heart goes out to my dear cousin Jeff and his family. I can picture him playing horseshoes at family reunions. Nice guy. Intelligent guy. We are in mourning.

I'm totally shocked to hear that this has happened to a very good man that I used to work for. For 6 years I had worked for Kramers towing, and to hear my Fiance wake me up at 7am to tell me that Jeff, Lori, and Michael were killed in a Home invasion. Heart, and Prayers goes out to Gary, Rory, and the rest of the Kramer family.

my prayers go out to the kramer family. the dumbass who plot this was related to my cousin and im still shocked that this happened hope the two idiots rot in jail and in hell.

Jeff was one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. I'm sure his wife and son were just as wonderful. My heart goes out to their family. I hope justice gets served.
