David Carradine Death Photo Printed by Bangkok Tabloid Thai Rath
The family of actor David Carradine are outraged over the publication of a David Carradine death photo. Forensics photos of the Carradine death scene were published in Thai Rath, a Bangkok tabloid, and his family is threatening to sue any media outlet that reprints the Carradine death photo.
The photo published in a Bangkok tabloid features Carradine hanging naked and suspended from a bar in a hotel closet. Carradine's face and other parts of his body were obscured.
The Thai tabloid did not credit the photo to a particular source, but Thai authorities said they suspect it was a photo taken by a forensics team that was somehow leaked.
Brother Keith Carradine has said his family will consider legal action over the Thai Rath Carradine photo.
"The family wants it understood that, per attorney Mark Geragos, any persons, publications or media outlets will be fully prosecuted for invasion of privacy and causing severe emotional distress if the photos are published," the statement read.

If you actually read what the respected media has reported, and not some half-wit blogger or tabloid rag, you would know he was found with his hands tied in front of him and hanging by his neck. How can anybody looking at that photo believe for one single second that that could possibly be David Carradine?
The room looks cheap and the body of the person hanging there isn't even close to the way he was found. These photos are disgusting and sad, but highly unlikely to be David Carradine.
Why would anyone with a soul want to publish those photos anyway? It's horribly insensitive to his family and friends. He was larger than life, but he was still human and his family deserves not to have to see that.

It's a fact of life that famous people want to see pictures of dead film stars and celebrities. The book Hollywood Babylon has some gruesome images. There are autopsy photographs of Marilyn on the slab, a tragic and beautiful in life ended, Candle in the Wind hits the mark,
But why are we shocked by these photographs? surely this is the kind of death imagery Quentin Tarantino or David Lynch would use, it would fit perfectly as a cameo in Blue Velvet. Trashy, perverted 'It's a great fucking story fucker' as Dennis Hopper's Character would say.
If he'd died of AIDS or swine flu there would be no market for the pictures. The former grasshopper tied and dangling inside his hotel wardrobe, part of a weird sex game, Shit aintyou the least bit curious?
Yes I genuinely feel for the family, they knew him as a real person the rest of us only know him as a fine actor with a taste for weird sex..........Hurray for Hollywood.

Firstly, don't bother clicking the links above as they are just linkbait for Perfspot.
Secondly, Carradine lived his life as a public figure making his money from public appearances. Therefore the circumstances surrounding his death - especially when in bizarre circumstances such as this – pass the public interest test.
Thirdly, it is not unusual for the vernacular press in many countries to public photos of bodies in their publications.
Having seen the published photos (http://twitpic.com/6qgfg) they appear fake to me.
Carradine had grey hair and the person in the photo has black; The person in the photo has brown skin and Carradine was Caucasian; the room has a wooden floor and is obviously small by the close proximity to the closet.
Having said that, as an editor and news editor I would have published genuine photos but would have obscured the genitals. I would have obscured the face only if the face was particularly horrific.
I can't recall howls of protest at the repeated screening over the years of JFK getting the top of his head blown off, nor of the images of thousands of dead Rwandese during the '94 genocide, the corpses of those killed in the Hiroshima blast, those killed in the Asian Tsunami, etc.
Oh, wait, they were okay though because, with the exception of JFK, they weren't white Americans - is that the answer?
David Carradine should have thought more about the consequences of what he was doing. A trip down to Nana Plazza, Soi Cowboy or Patpong would have been a lot more fun and less dangerous.
As for the latest claim by the Carradine clan, he was killed by a Kung Fu sect, please give me a break. Next it will be aliens. Perhaps the Carradines have all worked for the National Enquirer in the past.
At the end of the day the Carradines are just concerned that David will go down in history as having died while masturbating in a Bangkok hotel closet with a rope around his neck and a shoe lace around his penis.
I wait with bemused interest to see them file suit. This is nothing more than postulating and an attempt to take the focus off what no evidence to hand so far has been able to refute - death by autoerotic asphyxiation.
In any event, the more photos the better as then there can be more examination of the crime scene for those who subscribe to conspiracy theories.

ummm the reason why Carradine had grey hair and the person in the photo has black; The person in the photo has brown skin and Carradine was Caucasian is because the photo if you read was obscured to Ummm how to put this too not be as rude you might say if you read more about a story that is him its not fake just obscured

Well, gee! As an editor you are blind my friend. Clicking on your link showing the actual newspaper page, I see a human figure with his hands tied to a closet rod - and the ONLY thing that can be deciphered are the arms! The "Black Hair" is the blotting out of the entire head in the photo - I cannot believe that you cannot see that! Another said he was wrapped in fish net - again - I see an editing attempt using black dots to obscure the body - all of it but the arms. In conclusion, there is nothing to identify who this is from this photo; and nothing for anyone to get upset about! Much ado about nothing! Sounds like there was some bizarre sexual thing going on - with who I wonder?

<<The "Black Hair" is the blotting out of the entire head>>
I think you need to take a closer look. There is ample in the photograph to show it is not a five-star hotel suite and ample to show that it is not a 6-foot tall Caucasian.

Thai media always comes with graphic detail when they are writing news about crime. I do not think it is normal practice worldwide, but that's the way some people here like to read. By putting pieces of evidence together, you may think they are CSI in disguise.
No!, absolutely not.
Much worst they still rely on "a forensic expert" (Dr. Porntip) who had a comment about David's death. No!, she is not a part of the investigation team, either. She has never been. (Why on earth...?)
You are dealig with people who want an instant stardom in all aspects.
I remembered a hugh press conference when Thai cops announced they finally captured the most wanted, John Mark Carr. Wow!, this man is notorious as much as Osama Bin Laden. It turned out to be a fiasco. He was just a suspect.
Spicy news is somewhat like spicy food for some people.

I'll bet you did not know that all hotel rooms are outfitted with cameras? There is no freedom in those countries!

Just to matter finally to rest, this is a photo of the rooms at the hotel where David Carradine was staying

Like I said, Fake.
The autopsy photos that have been leaked today on the other hand look real.

I don't think it is fake. Those of you who think it is because of black hair and brown skin and a small hotel room, think about this. 1st off his whole head is blacked out, if they were to show his face it would make it that much more disrespectful for his loved ones. His skin is not brown. The bottom half of his body has been blurred so you can see the form of the body but not in detail. His arms are dark because they are over his head and are tied so obviously they had no blood going to them. Lastly, the room may look small and he is a celebrity and all but maybe he is broke. The economy is crap right now you know. or maybe he checked in there for a reason, a sexual one. Maybe that place is more low key than other high class hotels in the area.
