The David Goldman custody case is almost at an end, as David Goldman and his son Sean arrive home in the United States today just in time for Christmas.
The five year custody battle has been a tough one but today David Goldman and his son left Brazil and they plan to spend Christmas in Orlando rather than in their home state of New Jersey.
Sean was crying when he was led through the journalists on the way to the plane, but one source said that the renunion was a happy one.
The lawmaker said "there were lots of smiles, hugs" when the two were reunited. "They talked about basketball, the snowfall in New Jersey just recently and how much fun it is to play in the snow."

It's about time that the biological father, David Goldman, is allowed to have his son back. I understand that the maternal grandmother is upset about not having custody however, she can join the ranks of the majority of grandparents and enjoy spoiling her grandson either by mail or, in her case, supervised visits on the father's home ground. Sean was technically kidnapped by his mother and forced to live in a foriegn country, one that wasn't even his by birth. My condolences to his mothers family on the loss of their daughter and wife however, Sean needs his father - not his STEP-father at this time. He needs to know that his father DID NOT turn his back on him and is far from a "dead beat dad" as he MAY have been portraid as. This is one situation that Hillary Clinton did well.
