She can dish it out, but can she take it?  Governor Sarah Palin recently attacked President Barack Obama claiming he was trying to control the people. Then "Late Night" host David Letterman took some shots at her.

Gov. Sarah Palin is hitting back after her recent trip to New York City became the subject of CBS late night talk show host David Letterman’s Top Ten List on Monday.

In his number two highlight of Palin’s New York City trip, Dave cracked that Palin “bought makeup at Bloomingdale’s to update her slutty flight attendant look.”

David Letterman is not that educated nor is he that smart. This is all he can do. He used to be funny in the '70s before he became the embittered No. 2 of late night.

This comment about Palin is awful. Mocking is the method most preferred by modern liberals, as opposed to the old-fashioned kind, such as Sen Hubert Humphrey, when they, the old libs, got pushed  aside by the radicalized libs in the late '60s.

Modern liberals cannot argue their points, so they prefer mockery and cynicism. They get hysterical if you make fun of their icons in any way, shape or form, and accuse you of rascim, sexism, and whatever the latest and greatest -ism would be, but enter into an honest debate, no.

I object to Obama being called "the anti-Christ", and I have done so here as well. There is no reason for dragging Sarah Palin's daughter into this and if Palin were a democrat who had aborted her Down's Syndrome child, Letterman, a man of absolutely mediocre intellectual gifts, if they can be called that, would be clearly on her side.

The left did the same with Condeleeza Rice, using racist terms.

I am in independent and I did not vote in the last election and that was not the first time that I hadn't voted, but rather the umpteenth time.

I don't want to vote for the lesser of two evils, and that is what too often the choices have been.

My feeling is that if you vote for the lesser of two evils, that part of you is nothing but the lesser of two evils.

In any case, what is very, very good about Obama is that he is running us off the cliff even faster than Bush did, and that will cause the middle class to finally come to their senses, and get people who are pro-people in there in Washington, and get the power back from Washington to the states as well.

What Letterman did was also remarkably like the hate speech used recently by Playboy against Michelle Malkin, and a host of other very attractive and intelligent women who describe themselves as conservative.

Roy, do you feel that way when Republicans call Barack Obama names like "anti-christ", "Hitler," terrorist sympathizer," "nigger," "Osama Obama," "Muslim terrorist," "darkie," etc...  if you haven't seen this, watch this HBO documentary.

Roy, didn't Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol willingly appear at numerous campaign stops and pose for a cover of People Magazine with her mom?

How, specifically, is Obama running us off a cliff?

Hollywood swami Deepak Chopra (They still have him?) wrote in September that Palin is Obama’s Shadow. Shadow is a specific psychological term derived likely from the Hindu by C.G. Jung and his friend Toni Wolff who knew about those things. It refers to the contents of the psyche or the collective psyche that the conscious mind is not using or is hiding from or is generally against and hates. Like the Emperor and the Sith. You can tell the ferocity of the Shadow by the hatred it generates.

THIS IS BY BERNIE QUIGLEY A COMMENTATOR WHO WRITES WITH

KNOWLEDGE OF PSYCHOLOGY..ART...SPIRIT AND POLITICS..

GOOGLE BERNIE QUIGLEY FOR REAL INSIGHT ABOUT WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON.

Palin represents small town values -- a denial of America's global role, a return to petty, small-minded parochialism, says Obama-supporter Chopra, ignorance of world affairs -- a repudiation of the need to repair America's image abroad, family values – “a code for walling out anybody who makes a claim for social justice.” Also patriotism, “the usual fallback in a failed war.”  BERNIE QUIGLEY

"Shadow is fierce with Sarah. Whenever I mention her name in an article I always get the most ferocious hate mail and in the same banshee shrill screeching voice like the horses the Black Riders make in The Lord of the Rings whether it is from a suddenly unhinged classical professor from a great university like the one I got this morning, or just from a common, garden-variety schizophrenic cruising the internet". QUIGLEY

"This could actually tell us something very important about ourselves as Americans today. Just before he died in the early 1960s, Jung warned of the dangers which could result from America projecting its collective Shadow (as Chopra does with Palin) onto the Soviet Union. This ferocity of feeling about Sarah, and the press attacks and TV interviews set up to embarrass her are manifestations and reinforcements of this, could mean perhaps that we are today beginning to internalize a conflict like the one we began to externalize more than 100 years ago with the communists. But this time we are projecting the same internalized hatred onto the American heartland." QUIGLEY

"In one of the very first reactions to her, a regular New York Times commentator spontaneously compared Palin to Hitler. The big people at The New York Times and the interviewers at CBS are the guardians of the cave. They warn against going there. For to enter the Shadow is to enter a cave, like the Mines of Moria – there will be dangerous encounters with cave trolls; goblins will stream down from the ceilings like rabid bats – like the armies of mice who would accuse her thereafter of overspending on her allowed clothes budget for her VP debate with Joe Biden and would even make the most savage and absurd claims, like her delightful new daughter was not really her daughter at all but her grand daughter. Welcome to the Dark Side, Luke." QUIGLEY

"This division is the internal East/West conflict described above. It’s been growing really since the Sixties – the red state/blue state thing. It’s been variously benign and active since the first settlements in Plymouth and Williamsburg. This could turn dark. Maybe Romney who is as comfortable in the west as he is in the east can help resolve this." QUIGLEY

Look Deeper at the  real  reasons for all this vicious hatred.

You must have looked hard to find such a small picture.

You hit the nail on the head here.  Sneering etc. ,mocking is that of a very unhappy person.

Letterman actually in his body language reveals a very miserable person...what unhealthy

people who spend millions to put him out there.

He was only funny to the mind of unconscious people...say ..the teen mind .

It always amazes me how people do not understand what comedians are. I suppose that's what Oprah is for, to comfort the easily offended, the emotionally fragile, and other thin-skinned folks in this adult nursery we call "America."

Roy are you serious? First of all Dave is educated and he is actually very smart and it shouldn't matter whether or not he is educated thats so irrelevant, and for the record daves show begun in the early 80's not the 70's so shows what you know
