Dave Schubert, Deputy DA Who Prosecuted Pris Hilton & Bruno Mars, Arrested for Cocaine Possession

Vlark County Deputy District Attorney David Schubert, who prosecuted Bruno Mars and Paris Hilton for cocaine possession, was arrested on March 19 for... cocaine possession. (David Schubert mugshot)

A Las Vegas police officer pulled David Schubert over after witnessing what he thought was a drug deal. Raymond Streeter, who acted as a middleman in the cocaine deals allegedly involving David Schubert, said that Schubert bought crack cocaine around four times per week.

Aside from working with a federal drug task force, David Schubert prosecuted Paris Hilton for cocaine possession in August 2010 as well as prosecuting Bruno Mars for cocaine possession in February 2011.

Clark County District Attorney David Roger told TMZ, "We are very disappointed.  He [Schubert] has betrayed the trust that was placed in him.  He's been locked out of his office, placed on suspension and is in the process of being terminated."

The prosecution will be handled by the Attorney General, as the District Attorney cannot prosecute his own Deputy due to conflict of interest.
