Washington, DC - Near the end of morning rush hour today, a van with Maryland plates and a car with DC plates collided on Connecticut Avenue south of Albemarle Street in front of the Burger King and the Franklin Montessori School. MPD and Uniformed Secret Service officers restricted traffic flow on Connecticut Avenue for about an hour as DC FEMS made the accident site safe. The accident appears to have occurred in the rush hour reversible lanes, a.k.a. the suicide lanes.

It sucks to see a hypertech BMW 3-Series getting crashed like that. It really pays to be careful. To all motorists, drive safely!
