Washington, DC – The streets around the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) buildings were locked down this weekend for a meeting between the Group of Seven, World Bank and the IMF.
Police and security guards were deployed in the area. Metro buses were parked end-to-end at intersections on Pennsylvania Avenue. Dump trucks were placed in a zigzag pattern on side streets. For dignitary access movable barricades were positioned in at least two locations.
Where were the protesters?
