DC Madam Dead: Apparent Suicide

CNN has a breaking news report from the Associated Press that Deborah Jeane Palfrey has committed suicide. Deborah Jeane was staying with her mother in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Palfrey's mother reported Deborah Jeane's death to police.

Fox 13 of Tampa Bay reports that police confirm that Deborah Jeane Palfrey was found dead at age 52 on her mother's property.

DC Wire, a blog of the Washington Post reports that Palfrey was free awaiting sentencing for her April 15th federal racketeering convictions. She was to be sentenced on June 25th.

A DC madam sounds like someone who could do a lot of political damage if she wanted to.

Mr. Tippett, Many of us got copies of her phone records and went though the process of trying to coorelate the numbers with names. The small part I did, a few months of records, not much was there. A couple of small time politicos were in others work. Alot of cell records were to phones we could get information on. I am sure those with power to get records would have been shouting from the roof tops if there was anything there. She was to be sentenced in June. I am sad that anyone is in such mental pain that they take their lives.
