Washington, DC – Hundreds gathered for the first of three nights of light shows to honor the National Cathedral's 100th anniversary. Swiss lighting artist Gerry Hofstetter projected his “Lighting to Unite” onto the west and south sides of the Cathedral's exterior. Traffic slowed on neighboring Wisconsin Avenue from 9pm to midnight as people paused to view the spectacle.
