With a tiny strip of land, yet another golden feather, all that could bring fame to Dubai.. The news downtown is about the newly opened Dubai Shopping mall. Folks over here have grown crazy to see it at least once. We used to have such sort of rush at temples and religiously celebrated spots. The only weekly holiday is spent at getting into the Mall.

It indeed is a spectacular wonder, keeps your eyes open wide with awe. Its been highly impossible to go all the way along with a vehicle. Probably, you'll have to leave it miles behind and start walking a distance enough for a good exercise. We all used to wonder about the ones working in this magnificent place, as they would hardly reach home at all.

The Dubai Shopping Mall is the at-present largest shopping mall in the world. it was opened on 4th November, 2008. The outcome of a $20 Billion project seems to have come up with almost 1200 stores within the huge compound. 12 million sq.ft is the total area, of which the mall alone consists of almost 6 million.

The mall has the largest food court with over 40 outlets, and an organic food store.

This location is otherwise famous for the spot surrounding the world's to-be-at-present tallest building: BURJ DUBAI which is still under construction.
