A dead man voted? Liberal MP Keith Milligan wants a recount

Dead men can't vote! Or at least that is the assertion of ousted Liberal MP Keith Milligan, who has asked for a ballot recount after a voting irregularity in his P.E.I riding of Egmont was identified. The voting irregularity was a real shocker, Milligan claims that elections records show that a dead man voted, something that is just not possible.
The dead man's vote is just one of many inconsistencies with the voting record that Milligan wants looked at by Elections Canada. He also claims that some ballots that were accepted in other districts were tossed as spoiled in Egmont, and that people were allowed to vote without producing proper ID.
Milligan wants a recount. The judicial recount will begin Thursday. If the results of the election are not changed by the ballot recount, Milligan will have to incur all costs himself.
Records show a dead person voted in last week's federal election, Liberal candidate Keith Milligan states in his affidavit asking for a recount in the western P.E.I. riding of Egmont.
Milligan lost the count on election night to Conservative Gail Shea by 62 votes, the closest result in a federal election on P.E.I. since the Second World War. He has asked for a judicial recount, which will begin Thursday in Summerside.
In a sworn affidavit filed with the P.E.I. Supreme Court, Milligan alleges a number of irregularities. He said some people who live out of province were allowed to vote in Egmont when they didn't qualify, and that some potential voters were turned away because they didn't have the proper identification, while others without identification were allowed to vote.
He also said some ballots were counted as spoiled in some districts because they had short notes on them or the X in the wrong place, but similar ballots were counted in other districts.

Tina Kells, I like this story. It's good stuff.
The system is definitely flawed.
My Mother in law witnessed her husband’s name was not checked off after he voted. Instead someone else’s name was checked. When she pointed out the error the woman checking the list replied, “Great! Another one we have to go over”.
I wonder how many other errors there were?
