Deborah Perez to Prove Father Guy Ward Hendrickson Zodiac Killer?

When Deborah Perez announced claims in April 2009 that her deceased father, Guy Ward Hendrickson, was the infamous1970's serial murdered known as the Zodiac Killer, people were skeptical. Deborah Perez had made some pretty fantastic claims in the pas t, including an assertion that she was the love child of former US president JFK. But Perez says she can prove her Zodiac Killer claims.

However, it seems that San Francisco police are not willing to leave any stone unturned in solving the more than three decades old murder mystery of the Zodiac Killer. On June 17, 2009 it is believed that San Francisco police interviewed Deborah Perez about her father Guy Ward Hendrickson on the off-chance that she is telling the truth.

According to Deborah Perez she came to see that her father, Guy Ward Hendrickson, was indeed the Zodiac Killer after years of denial. Perez began to research her father as the possible Zodiac Killer in 2007 after she saw a sketch that resembled him in his youth.

Among the shocking details Deborah Perez released about her father are allegations that she may have helped him pen some of the letters he sent to police and press in the 1970's during the Zodiac Killer murders. Perez even claims to have suppressed clear memories of the killings committed by her father, Guy Ward Hendrickson.

There are unconfirmed reports that San Francisco police have substantiated some concrete evidence from Deborah Perez and her claims against her father, Guy Ward Hendrickson. There is some speculation that DNA evidence on the letters Perez has in her possession may point to her father as the Zodiac Killer.

Updates will be made as soon as a statement is released by San Francisco police.

“To my surprise, I found cards and letters in evidence held by the police which were written by my father or by me,” she said before dozens outside City Hall in April. “There are unique facts about those letters which are not publicly known.”

In that news conference, Perez said Hendrickson often tried to explain away unusual incidents during her childhood that she found disturbing.

“I would hear shots and he would state that they were firecrackers. I would see a girl running and screaming and hear shots,” She said. “My dad said that the boy threw firecrackers at the girl, that the girl was OK.”

Perez even claims to have helped write and mail some of the letters that led to the sensational name, and to have glasses that belonged to one of the victims.

Hendrickson died in 1983.

Hello,

I think it came to me today by "divine intervention", we are dealing with a 'Zodiactress' !

My father Guy Ward Hendrickson, was the kindest man, he even rescued a whole Mexican family from starvation and complete poverty in Tia Juana , during his late 50s early 60 up until he died of cancer-aged 67 yrs old. Dad was the kind of "Guy" that would walk across the street to make friends of a new neighbor, who would take me down to the Manhatten beach pier to go fishing when I was small,,,,,,he loved to fish. And then after working all week, he would take the family on a Sunday drive, eating fruit from a fruit stand along the way. Things were tuff in those days, dad did not complain, even thought he had a bad back from tilt up walls on his school jobs for the state of California. Dad was proud of his jobs,and would often point them out to us kids in the car.

I hope you will all realize how hard it has been to have my father's name slandered, especially by one he rescued from the poverty of Mexico. Dad loved children, and all people, he was never a racist. He served his country working in a ship yard, because he did not like war or killing.

I am planning a book now, if for no other reason but for my grandchildren and great grandchildren to know the TRUTH, about their grandpa Guy, and to show just how this type of slander can happen to anyone in America. All it takes is a few "repressed memories" and some big time greed.

Hello Janice. One of you is a bold face liar, and I think it could be your sister. The reason why she is doing this? HuH? Publicity? What happens when the "evidence" is false, and the police find out she is a liar? TV producers are gonna line up to give her a show about defaming their dead father. I hope (and know) you, Janice, are telling the truth.

Cut her some slack. She just told the whole country her father was the Zodiac for Gods sake. If you had a secret like that what would you do.

She added, "I have fond memories of him, even though he went off on me now and then."

On Wednesday, Hendrickson's stepsister Deborah Perez, 47, held a news conference outside The Chronicle to say her stepfather was the Zodiac. She said she also had fond memories of him - but that as a 7-year-old, she had tagged along a couple of times in the family car when the Zodiac gunned down his victims, although she didn't see the slayings and didn't know what the popping noises or moans she heard were.

What I wonder is what is the real truth?

However Deborah Perez stories tend to be a bit bizarre and it does look like she wants to earn money out of the fame.

"Updates will be made as soon as a statement is released by San Francisco police." I wonder what we will find out on the next report from san Francisco Police. It could make or break the reliability of Deborah's claims. I am sure you must be waiting in anticipation of the results of the new forensic investigation.

HELLO,,,, perhaps first I will address the snide remarks about my eye problem, I have been partially blind in my left eye since age of three. I was backed over by a car. Fact: I lost the left lens and finally have a cheap pair until I get some new glasses made. That said, go look all around, go to some of the Zodiac websites, see if you see Debra Perez stories kept current? She has quit posting,,,,,, the San Francisco Police, homicide devision, officer Jones , has found conflicts in what Debra has stated to the police. He "cousin" was not Jim Crabtree, a Zodiac Victims ex husband , she said dad killed his/Crabtree's ex wife Darlene Ferrin,,,,, well, my cousin that she is talkiing about, was not Jim Crabtree, we have proven it to the police, dad did not know Crabtree or Darlene Ferrin. One Lie down many more to go,,,,,,, She claims that my dad knew Gareth Penn, the author of a Zodiac book "Times 17",and that they sat around in front of her and discussed murders,,,,, Fact: Gareth Penn has written the SFPD and stated that he never knew my dad, and he was a kid when dad would have known him According to Debra Perez' time frame. Debra continues to be proven wrong, false, lies, manipulator of the truth, what ever, she is not tellling the truth.
