32 Killed in Delhi Building Collapse

32 have been killed and over 60 injured when a four-storey building in Lalita Park, Delhi collapsed. According to Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, the building's basement was swamped with water accumulated during the monsoon season-- water that was not properly removed. The foundation was weakened and the building fell, also threatening the building next door.

The incident is being investigated to see if the building was up to code, and if any unauthorized construction took place.

Finance minister A K Walia said the foundation of the old building could have weakened due to the heavy rains in the monsoon season when water of the Yamuna river flooded the area.

Locals said some water was still there in the basement of the building. Some residents also claimed that construction of an extra floor was going on when the incident took place. Many of the injured were labourers.

This Mafias Powerful Lobby have direct connection to HM and CM and could transfer the jobs of Collector or PI within minutes if they go against them. Some Land Mafias are big financiers of Political Parties. Cuts of illegal income is shared from Top to Bottom.
