Delta flight cancelled due to attendants fighting
A connecting flight from Rochester, NY to Atlanta on Delta Airlines was cancelled due to 2 female flight attendants fighting, press say.
Apparently, the disagreement escalated from verbal to physical, and the pilot made the decision to cancel the flight, FOX News was told. Passengers were placed on alternative connecting flights to Atlanta, the airline said.
The old Delta ad, "Delta is ready when you are" did not hold true in this case.
Two female flight attendants got into a verbal argument and the pilot decided to cancel the flight, Amy Howell, owner of Howell Marketing Strategies, which represents Pinnacle Airlines, told FoxNews.com."They told us we had to get off the plane because stewardesses were fighting," said passenger Corey Minton.
The Delta Connection
flight was operated by Pinnacle Airlines, which has suspended the two women while an investigation is conducted, the site reported.
"The acts described are not acceptable," said Joe Williams, a spokesman for Pinnacle Airlines.
Passengers were reportedly placed on other flights.

It was a safety issue, from what i heard. Officials were concerned about the possible spread of cat scratch fever.

Well, it was a Delta Connection Carrier but it is actually Pinnacle Airlines that operates the flight. They must have some very interesting training.

Next time they should get a ring announcer and charge extra for the in-flight entertainment! Beats Jet Blue's TV screens that's for sure!

I was on this flight and it was a real pain. The disagreement apparently began when a passenger had a panic attack and demanded to get off the plane just as we were about to be de-iced. The flight attendant for that section did not follow airline procedures and the other flight attendant intervened. I guess that set them off at each other. We pulled back to the gate to let the guy off, waitied about 20 minutes and then the pilot announced we were cancelled due to "a crew issue." Sorry, Rory no fisticuffs or torn garments.
