Here is the finished product:

Here are the codes:

IMPORTANT: I had to substitute in the curly brackets in order for the raw code to show up below. NP uses square brackets in its code. Therefore, please replace { with [ and } with ] in order to use the code to post.

Here is a template, which you might want to save:

AGAIN, replace the curly brackets with [ and ].

Rinse and repeat.

generaldecay, thank you for taking the time to post this "demonstration." It will be the case however that there will be people who will "do it their way"! Complete with excuses:)! No offense intended to anyone:)! Thanks again!

Absolutely, Rhonda. However, I was asked for advice on how to do this on another post - hence the demonstration. It's so very easy, in my opinion.

There are diverse legal ways o doing it! {ABSTRACT} would be one, and maybe even being one of the older once around!

I have no idea what this means. Could you explain? I don't want this to become overly-complicated, or a discussion of the different ways one can post without using the highlight tool. My purpose is to provide a very simple tutorial, using the conventional codes on NP.

I use it since University, in all legal and official documents as soon as I put in a piece or part of text that is not my own or not the corporations material like a quotation mark! Also used as summery or to summarise!

It is use in most legal and Engineering and corporate even Journalistic writings!

Oh, ok, thank you. Well, that's a lesson for another day, perhaps. Besides, I think we're talking about two different things. This is a coding tutorial. An abstract is used at the start of a long piece of writing to summarise the material. (I just wrote one this morning, as it happens.)

The conventional NP codes are relevant to this tutorial.

Maybe you should have one of those post every week and little by little, who knows it may cash on! There are many issues and subjects to cover here! I think you had the right idea here!
