Deported Russian spy Chapman to run for Parliament

London: Anna Chapman, the glamorous Russian spy who was deported from USA will run for her country’s Parliament. the 29-year-old former spy is sure to be elected as she would be contesting from the Russian Prime Minister’s all powerful ruling party United Russia, as Russia is a de facto one party state  The Daily Telegraph said. The ruling party is expected to keep its dominant position for years to come. Chapman is expected to contest from the Volgograd seat, the report said.

Chapman has been steadily working for political  position and last  year she became one of the leaders of the youth wing of Putin’s ruling party.

Chapman was one of the 10 Russian spies deported from the USA last summer.
