Despite several statements to the contrary in recent months, it turns out that AARP, a membership organization that purports to represent the interests of people 50 and older, was behind ObamaCare all along.  According to an article in The Hill tonight, Associated Press is reporting that AARP is planning to endorse the House version of President Barack Obama’s health care reform plan prior to it being voted on Saturday.

It was only three months ago that an AARP meeting on healthcare reform went “South” and the organization began losing members by the tens of thousands, prompting spokespersons to make statements distancing AARP from ObamaCare.  A short while later, however, an AARP ObamaCare ad surfaced, causing many to question anew the sincerity of the group’s leaders on the issue.

Yes, after all of the posturing and shifting back and forth with the political winds, AARP is planning to formally endorse ObamaCare.
