Diamond Bar Threatened by California Fires

The giant Freeway Complex fire is now threatening to spread to the the city of Diamond Bar in Los Angeles County.

A gated community in Diamond Bar has already been evacuated and more evacuations may follow. Diamond Bar High School has been set up to become an evacuation center. Ten air tankers and 15 helicopters have been dispatched to the area.

The Freeway Complex fire began in Corona, forcing the town to be evacuated as well as nearby Yorba Linda and Anaheim. The blaze has damaged more than 2,000 acres and 94 homes on Saturday alone.

Yeah! the City of Diamond Bar strives to keep citizens informed and prepared for any emergency there...and let's pray together to the people Southern California, especially those who lost thier homes or family members...

I am on the phone now with a friend who lives in Diamond Bar. Reporters are saying that the firemen "Have won the victory in Diamond Bar." The winds have cooperated and the firemen that were sent in have put a fire break up; as long as the winds cooperate the fire won't advance.

i live in diamond bar, but as of right now im out of town. please continue to pray, two of my family members are back home getting ready to be evacuated. things can change with a word of prayer. God Bless

I live in Salt Lake City Utah and many of us here have family and close connections to the entire state of California. We are watching closely and praying for all of your safety. I live in a Salt Lake neighborhood called Sugarhouse and even though we are within the borders of the city of Salt Lake, from my house I could drive 5 minutes and be up a number of extremely wooded canyon's. We don't have the wind and drought, but this year's fires have made me realize I live in a false security. You guys are tough down there. Hang in there...
