Vice-President Dick Cheney will be in a wheelchair for tomorrow's Inauguration after injuring his back during his last day in office. According to White House Press Secretary Dana Perino, Cheney pulled a muscle in his back while moving boxes into his new home in the DC suburb of McLean, VA.
The 67-year-old Cheney suffered no serious damage, but has been told to use a wheelchair for the next few days.
No doubt, the sight of a wheelchair-bound Cheney watching a new Democratic president be sworn into office will be trigger waves of schadenfreude among Cheney's many critics.

It was like a scene from Dr Strangelove (the 60s film where ex German/Nazi scientist Dr Strangelove springs from his wheelchair and shouts 'Ya, mein president!'). Real life is better than fiction.
