During her appearance on the Tonight Show, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice complimented the Obama administration and said that "we owe them our loyalty and our silence while they do it."

This was in stark contrast to Vice President Dick Cheney who attacked President Obama about a week ago.

RICE: My view is, we got to do our way. We did our best. We did some things well, some things not so well. Now they get their chance. And I agree with the president; we owe them our loyalty and our silence while they do it. […] These are quality people. I know them. They love the country and they won’t make the same decisions, perhaps, that we did. But I believe they’ll do what they think is best for the country.

I voted for him, but I do not support his massive spending ideas, nor the bank bailout.

SILENCE. Doesn't sound like democracy in action to me.

Secretary Rice is doing what Good Republicans do when they leave office.  The defend or remain silent until campaign day.  Now those who are in office or Regular citizens have a responsibility to keep government under close watch.  VP Cheney should stay silent, go fishing, walk the dog, go hunting (alone) and sit on his couch.  For regular citizens we should remind the government who they work for, the people.  President Obama need to keep in mind that 46% of the electoriate voted against him and his campaign promises.  I understand that Obama won by a clear majority and we should help him become sucessful.  That does not mean that I have to agree with his policies.

I do not agree with silence though, that is what caused the previous mess. Now more silence wile is simply deadly.

Bickering is not welcome either, however constructive criticism is always good as well as sound thinking and objective analysing with counter proposal if needed.

Don't be surprise of seeing this woman in 2012 as a runner in the Republican party. Not only will she win the Republican nomination but she will also beat the hell out of this Kenya born cluesless telepromter addict that is currently governing us. If you are going to break the glass ceiling of race- break it with a real african american and a conservative at that. Not a vile liberal minded person. Period!

First of all,  Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Secondly, Ms. Rice knowingly supported torture, lied about WMD and assisted in the illegal invasion of a foreign cuntry.  She has innocent blood on her hands, and I'm sure for that fact alone she will get voters like you behind her.

I forgot to add: I am firmly against Obama and his military campaign in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Sure Condi says nothing..because Obama is now doing their dirty work....propping up the lie that the Taliban had anything remotely to do with 911.

We have 9 years to the making since 911...and still we have no real conclusive evidence that binladin did do it. More evidence points to it being an inside job. What person or President would declare such a war....and kill thousands of innocent people...without real certainty of who did it.?.....especially when they refuse to answer questions that indicate 911 was an inside job. Obama is a hack, an illegitimate murderer....who is being paid off to carry on Bush Policies.....
