Did US Violate Intl Laws? Prime Minister D.M Jayaratne

Prime Minister D.M Jayaratne yesterday questioned into whether the killing of Osama Bin Laden by US forces in Pakistan was a violation of International laws.

“How can another country enter another sovereign state to kill a person on an order? We never ordered to kill Prabhakaran. He died when the war was still going. That’s the difference between these two deaths. The body of Bin Laden is still in their custody”, Prime Minister D.M Jayaratne gave these comments during an event in Pettah last evening.
