On 10/5/2008 Israeli and international activists
joined Palestinians in the village of Shufa, near Tulkarm, and dismantled the Israeli roadblocks that divide the two parts of the village.
The activists protested against the act of collective punishment that
divides Izbit Shufa from the rest of the village. After one of the road blocks was opened, the Israeli aremy attacked the protest, shooting rubber-coated bullets and sound grenades. 10 protestors were injured. Photo by: Tess Scheflan \ Activestills.org
