Dixie Found Guilty in Bowman Murder

The accused's alibi was one of opportunistic necrophilia: fairly weak, though I'm no lawyer. Mark Dixie was found guilty of murdering 22-year-old Sally Bowman, and will be sentenced today.

A chef was found guilty of murdering aspiring model Sally Anne
Bowman, despite his claims that he did not kill her but instead had
had sex with her dead body.

Such was the brutal nature of the crime, police fear her killer,
Mark Dixie, 37, has murdered before, possibly in Australia where he
lived for most of the 1990s.

[...]

Dixie, who has previous convictions for a string of sex crimes,
had claimed he "took advantage of the situation" after discovering
the 18-year-old's dead body in the street in Croydon, south of
London, in September 2005.

The above article speculates that Dixie may have committed murders in Australia, though there is no evidence of that at this point: local police cleared Dixie of the 1990 Claremont murders, which remain unsolved.
