NP Rank:
Doctor Conrad Murray not a Suspect in Michael Jackson's Death
There has been a lot of speculation on the involvement of Doctor Conrad Murray into the Death of Michael Jackson.
Yesterday Doctor Murray met three hours with police. A spokeswoman for Conrad Murray, Miranda Sevcik, said that he is not suspect in his Death.
She said that investigators met with Murray on Saturday to clarify some inconsistencies.
According to the spokeswoman Murray was accompanied by his attorney. They answered each and every question and Murray is in no way considered a suspect, but remains a witness. He is free to go as there is no need for further questioning. Dr. Murray plans to stay in town out of the goodness of his heart.
Dr. Murray said that he wants to help out as much as possible.
The autopsy completed earlier was inconclusive and official results are pending a toxicology test.
The Jackson family is expected to call for an independent autopsy.
The doctor who was with Michael Jackson when he died has met with police and is not considered a suspect in the death of the pop star, a spokeswoman for the cardiologist says.
Investigators met with Dr. Conrad Murray for three hours on Saturday to "clarify some inconsistencies," Miranda Sevcik said in a statement.
Sevcik said investigators believe "the doctor is in no way a suspect and remains a witness" and he and his attorney "answered every and all questions." Sevcik said Murray will continue to be co-operative.
Meanwhile, Jackson's family is expected to call for an independent autopsy on the pop singer's body.

Comments:
Dr. Murray had to "clarify some inconsistencies," Miranda Sevcik.
-Q: why any "inconsistencies"? I can think of many; the list is very long and growing.
"...the doctor is in no way a suspect and remains a witness"
> Wrong. He was Jackson's treating MD at the time of his death!
"Dr. Murray plans to stay in town out of the goodness of his heart."
> Nice try but not a good spin.
If the doctor wants to act in "goodness from his heart", perhaps he should sit down with the Jackson family, with his records, and fully explain all his actions. He reportedly spoke with the family at the hospital and they remain very concerned about Murray. Sad to say, this doctor is a fraud.

Thank you for your comments Pete. You may be right. As you know the Police Departments these days like to use terms like person of interest or refer to them as not being suspects. I think for the time being the investigation should stay with the professionals. I believe the truth will prevail in the end.
The Jackson's have now completed their own independent autopsy and I suspect the results will also be inconclusive until the results of the toxicology test are known.
