Karl Rove Sets Barack Obama White House Straight on Afghanistan Blame Game Attempt

Yesterday, NATO Defence Ministers and the NATO Secretary General have voiced their support for General McChrystal;s recommendations for Afghanistan.  There is also broadbased support by the UN.

Apparently President Obama has now been provided with all the recommendations and facts by his National Security Council and the White House has reported that the President is in the personal decision phase.

Last week the White House Staff alleged that the Bush Administration had no strategy for the last seven years.  Former VP Dick Cheney countered this and said that the March Strategy was derived from the comprehensive review conducted by the Bush administration and that President Obama was dithering.

While the politics continue as usual in Washington, this week another 11 US troops died in Afghanistan.
U.S Casualties have increased again during this past week.  Here is the update of total casualties as of 10 am 23 October 2009.  The number of Deaths has now risen to 807 which is an increase of 11 over the previous week.  This year has been the bloodiest in Afghanistan since Op Enduring Freedom started in 2001 The longer a decision on Afghanistan is delayed, Obama will feel the pressure to act and keep the interest of the U.S. and the troops in the field in the forefront.           OEF U.S. Military Casualties             Total Deaths KIA  Non-Hostile WIA       RTD ** WIA Not RTD          In and Around Afghanistan                  807            624         183          1,764         2,595           Other Locations****                           72                5          67                                  1OEF U.S. DoD Civilian Casualties                 1                1

. . .the White House has reported that the President is in the personal decision phase.

JEEZ! How long do you think  will it take for Obama to make a decision?

Barrack Hussein Obama...mmm....mmm....mmm. sure has taken his time to "deliberate" on "don't ask, don't tell".

I, for one, do appreciate the gravity of the decision-making process and don't want to aid and abet his critics by giving him anything less than total, and I mean TOTAL, respect.

What some do not understand is that, the request for more troops that gen McCrystal made was not for right now, or at least not immediately. Yes, He says that the additional troops will be needed in order to have a better chance of succeding there. That issue is still months away and is not right now affecting the situation there. Soon the president will make the call, but not before the new election. So that they may know who they will be supporting. Those who have died in combat there, Are my brothers and sisters. I do identify with the rest of us who are not present there now and with our service men/women. In addition to their families and friends, including you and me. There are many soldiers in Afghanistan, some from many other countries and also include Pakistani. To those who have faith I exhort your prayers for all of them in their time of sacrifice. To others who don't believe in god, I know you will wish them well. In all fairness this is not Obama's fault, Nor is it anyone's wish(here) to have anyone killed there. The taliban is stepping up their efforts against the occupying forces. One thing would be certain though, and that is, either send in the reinforcements or abandon Afghanistan.

The report is not only about more troops, it is also about a strategy to move forward.  A Strategy requires clear and succinct goals and objectives.  Soldiers morale is affected when they don.t know where they.re going and have a roadmap to get there.  In military terms that is known as SMEAC. (Situation, Mission, Execution, Administration and Command and Signals).  This is the old format.  Now it includes Commanders Intent, which follows the Mission.

This video needs to be watched by the liberals.   They NEED  to see too...Fox is not what they yap all the time.  It is disgraceful that in this age there are people who refuse to look at both sides.. We have seen the side of Obama now.  Look at our condition and it is way too far to keep blaming anyone.  He could have made different decisions right from the start.  He could not wait to SPEND SPEND WHEN WE ARE BROKE BROKE.

GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR SOLDIERS HE IS SACRIFICING . This blood will be on his heart.
