Here is this weeks update on Casualties in Afghanistan.  Casualties of American troops this week than in recent preceding weeks.  This only makes it that more tragic that 9 were killed in Fort Hood, Texas.

As of Saturday, November 7th 2009, at least 833 members of the U.S. military had died in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan as a result of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in late 2001, according to the Defense Department. The department last updated its figures Friday November 7th,10:00 AM EDT.
