In an interview with Dana Bash and Wolf Blitzer of CNN. Senator Christopher Dodd admitted adding a bonus loophole into the stimulus package. Senator Dodd also stated that the Treasury Department had asked him to add the loophole. The stimulus package was designed for AIG and other companies. Senator Christopher Dodd of Connecticut is the Chairman of the Senate Banking Commitee while Mr. Genther is Secretary of the Treasury. According to the five comments that were submitted to CNN before the comments section was closed, there was criticism of the Obama Administration, Dodd, and Genther. One comment called for the resignation of Dodd and Genther while another complained about the lack of checks and balances.
