In an interview with Dana Bash and Wolf Blitzer of CNN. Senator Christopher Dodd admitted adding a bonus loophole into the stimulus package. Senator Dodd also stated that the Treasury Department had asked him to add the loophole. The stimulus package was designed for AIG and other companies. Senator Christopher Dodd of Connecticut is the Chairman of the Senate Banking Commitee while Mr. Genther is Secretary of the Treasury. According to the five comments that were submitted to CNN before the comments section was closed, there was criticism of the Obama Administration, Dodd, and Genther. One comment called for the resignation of Dodd and Genther while another complained about the lack of checks and balances. It remains to be seen how this will play out. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/03/18/breaking-i-was-responsible-for-bonus-loophole-says-dodd/

Knew this from blog reports on the web the night the 1000+ page bill did not get posted as promised, the day before it was voted on and passed. a Republican Senator was complaining about being shut out of the committee room where changes were being made and about the bonus prevention being taken out.

So.... when was that? the net knew,  even if the MSM didn't.
