Donna Goebel, Ex-Teacher's Aide, Sentenced for Sex With Student

Donna Goebel, an ex-teacher's aide, has been sentenced to five years in prison for having sexual relations with a 16 year-old student at a Southern New Jersey high school. The 45 year-old Goebel appeared in court on Monday, October 19, 2009 testifying that she was innocent expressing "extreme regrets" for the, as she put it, "uncharacteristic situation."

The minor involved testified that he and Goebel had intercourse several times in 2008.

Goebel was in a brutal marriage, so bad even the judge stated that he had a hard time declaring the Westampton resident as a predator because of her unfortunate marital situation.
