You might not know it but Rosé (not the ersatz white Zinfandel) is experiencing a renaissance.
You can now even find Reserve Rosé than can cost up to $100 a bottle.
I recently purchased this Rosé from a small French producer.
It is made from low yielding 50 year old Cabernet Franc grapes locally known as Breton according to Greg Moore of Moore Brothers (from Delaware) who describes this 2007 Domaine Gasnier Chinon Rosé as offering "strawberry and floral scents balanced by firm structure and a soft, spicy feel on the palate".

leconcierge, I wasn't sure what was newsworthy in this story. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered.
