Doug and Joanna Abbott's Field Ruined by Balloon Boy Landing

Doug and Joanna Abbott's field was the one that the Heene family's UFO shaped hot air balloon landed in after the ordeal of Falcon Heene who was thought to be inside, but TMZ has learned that the wheat crop growing in the field has been ruined.

The family needs the crop for revenue, but the 300 acre field was mostly destroyed by the emergency vehicles and the people running to catch the craft, and most of it cannot be used now.

The couple tells TMZ: "It does make you wonder what kind of attention the family was after by using this little boy."

The crop only grows every two years so the couple has to wait for two more years to get a full crop now.

It is not known if they will pursue legal action over the matter.

I sincerely hope the family who perpetrated this crime is persecuted to the full extent of the law and the Abbott's receive 100% full restitution for their damaged property and lost earnings. I really do ...
