Well this picture was shot up by me while Female supporters of separatist group Muslim Khawateen Markaz (MKM) or Muslim Women's Centre were being detained while they were shouting pro-freedom slogans during a demonstration in central Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian Kashmir, 24 October 2007. Dozens of MKM activists were detained when they took out a procession demanding United Nations to pressurise India to stop human rights violations by Indian forces in Kashmir valley. The U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon warned that violence against women has reached "hideous" levels in some countries trying to recover from conflict, and the U.N. Security Council demanded an end to impunity for rape and other sexual abuse.
