personally i believe relationship of Korea towards the neighbours are more important than towards the U.S.A.

most countries now participate on the international market, and accept the US$ as currency. There are also Japan, China, Russia and the EU. for them the US$ is not compulsory for trading.

the background is that personally i would like to see Japan and Korea end war. however, it is unlikely to happen in the near future.
