After London, the pro-independence American Friends of Balochistan made its mark at the Palace of Nations in Geneva as a Moscow-based son of a former Baloch guerrilla leade, Mir Hazar Khan Ramkhani, who now has become the military intelligence point man in Balochistan, heightened his web attacks on the resistance forces.

Tears of gratitude were visible in the eyes of Dr. Charles Graves, general secretary of the Interfaith International at the Palace of Nations in Geneva.

In the presence of Mehran Baluch, youngest son of the chief ideologue of the Baloch liberation movement Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri, an American woman from Philadelphia presented the Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch: A Profile in Courage Award to Dr. Charles Graves at the Palace of Nations in Geneva.

In his speech, Mehran Baluch made it clear protecting the human rights agenda in Balochistan was inconceivable without conferring legitimacy to the demand for independence of Balochistan. He said the only political demand of the Baloch people was independence.

As Deamer presented the award that honors the Tiger of Mekran, Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, who had relentlessly challenged the foreign occupation of his homeland, Dr. Graves read out the verbiage of the award:

Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch -- A Profile in Courage Award

The American Friends of Balochistan confers upon the honorable Dr. Charles Graves, secretary general, Interfaith International,

this award on March 11, 2010 in recognition for his dedicated and meritorious services towards exposing human rights violations in Balochistan and raising the profile of Balochistan at the United Nations Human Rights Council.

A number of international human rights activists, Peter Tatchell, Shaukat Kashmiri, Dr. Zaffar Baloch, Dr. Lakhu Luhana, Dr. Haleem Bhatti, Baseer Naveed, and Senator Sanaullah Baloch, among scores of other South Asian activists, gave a standing ovation to Dr. Graves.

In his speech, Dr. Graves said there was no stopping for the Baloch people to get their rights ensured as a nation under the U.N. charter whether or not Interfaith International maintains its consultative status at the U.N.

Pakistan and its imperial master China succeeded in getting a recommendation for the suspension of the Interfaith International in January. The Sino-Pakistan move was backed by Cuba.

Two major powers, the U.S. and U.K., sprung to the defense of the Interfaith International and have insisted that the right of nations to self-determination is part of the U.N. charter.

The American friends of Balochistan leaders Rashid Baloch of Dallas and Malik Baloch of Houston congratulated Dr. Graves for receiving the award. "Had we been a sovereign nation, we would have tried to accepted Dr. Graves as a citizen of Balochistan," the A.F.B. leaders said.

They asked other westerners to do the right thing and support the liberation struggle of the people of Balochistan under the banner of the Baloch National front and leadership of the the three shining stars of Balochistan: Mir Hyrbyair Marri, Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti and Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch.

The A.F.B. leaders also thanked the U.S. and U.K. governments for defending the right to self-determination of the enslaved people languishing under colonialism and said the Baloch will fully exercise their inalienable right to achieve independence and protect their national sovereignty.

Dr. Jumma Marri, Moscow-based son of Ramkhani, meanwhile, has heightened his attacks on the genuine resistance leaders in particular the chief ideologue of Balochistan independence, Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri, and his sons Hyrbyair Marri and Mehran Baluch through a web site named Sardar Watch:

Independent observers says politics aside, even by their simple looks Nawab Marri sons look like Hollywood heroes while their detractors like Jumma Marri look like Bollywood villains.

Intriguingly, while Ramkhani is now allegedly on the payroll of Pakistan Military Intelligence, his son Jumma Marri is believed to be an Indian mole.

Baloch tribal supremo and de jure ruler of Balochistan, Khan of Kalat Suleman Daud, privately says Ramkhani and his son are sailing in two boats. "I can vouch Jumma Marri is a double agent," a key Baloch activist in Toronto said, requesting anonymity as his family visits Pakistan.
