At first glance the Dream Machine appeared to be an over sized Hippie, Lava lamp from the early 1960’s. Harry had remembered, seeing similar devices in the ‘Head Shops’ lining the streets of, Greenwich Village. Then DonJon flicked a switch, and the three-foot high latticework cylinder in front of Harry began to spin, It was clear now that this Dream Machine they were dealing with was more than just another piece of trippy memorabilia.

The colorful undulating patterns that the Dream Machine began to emit almost at once, were intriguing. He had been somewhat skeptical, but was still hoping for more given what he new about the Dream Machine and its history.

The troupe sat cross-legged upon plush pillows, and Persian carpet. A hookah pipe with burning Hashish was laid out in classic, Bohemian, on the dark hardwood floor of Don’s Chelsea Hotel studio.             Read The Whole Story with More Pictures Here
