A diamond is a transparent crystal of carbon atoms and are the hardest natural material known to man.

Diamonds are commonly judged by the “four Cs”: carat, clarity, color, and cut; and the name diamond is derived from the ancient Greek adamas (αδάμας; “invincible”). Roughly 49% of diamonds originate from central and southern Africa, although significant sources of the mineral have been discovered in Canada, India, Russia, Brazil, and Australia.

This is a collection of 0.02, 0.03 and 0.04 solitaires weighing in total 5.36 carats, costing just under $4,000.
